What is the Balanced Movement Class?

It is a one hour class teaching how to self stretch tight muscles and how to keep muscles active and strong for any activity.

For only $5 you will get a 1 hour workshop on daily stretches with a take home handout.  The class is limited to 15 people and we are already half full.  Call 864-448-2073 to Reserve.

Sadly in modern day, we are not given a blueprint for how to maintenance our physical body.  There are multiple disciplines such as Yoga, Pilates, and Personal Training to help with this, but many feel that they aren’t comfortable in those classes.

Dr. Day has taught stretching for 10 years.

He is currently the stretch instructor for Bon Secours “Well Walkers” where he employs movements that even the most movement limited person can perform.

He has also taught workshops at large churches, athletic teams, and corporations.

Why are we teaching this?

Dr. Day dealt with Chronic Pain for years and this class is a culmination of different movement concepts he has learned in his search for a functional life.  Now having his health restored, the goal of Mountain Movement Center is to empower others to MOVE WELL and MOVE OFTEN.

Sadly many just don’t know where to start.  We want to offer low cost options for those struggling with issues.

We will have Bolsters, Stretching Sticks, and Modifications:

After working with so many with limitations during his 9 years in practice we will offer many different versions of the stretches and moves for all ages and abilities.   The “stretch sticks” provide stability and freedom for worry about falling.
